​Very few Dutch singers have delved as deeply into Poulenc's lieder as soprano Charlotte Riedijk. She masterfully navigates the intricacies of this repertoire, which requires a delicate touch, impeccable diction, an ironic sensibility, and a commitment to maintaining perfect balance. Riedijk pairs three Poulenc cycles with songs by Satie and Ravel, two composers who served as significant inspirations for Poulenc. She shares the stage with her long-time duo partner, pianist Ellen Corver.
